Why could a blue screen appear when updating linux ubuntu?

Hello. New to Linux. Put Ubuntu next to Windows 10. Everything worked fine. To change the operating system from windows to linux, I had to change the Secure Boot settings to Legacy Support and vice versa in the UEFI panel. And so I go into Ubuntu and see a blue tap, after a while an update window appears, and which blinks and does not update to the end, then it asks for a password and disappears again, again a blue screen. Tell me in which direction to think in order to use Ubuntu humanly, what could be the problem?
