Why can the script in the browser slow down?

Hello. I'll try to formulate the question as clearly as possible.
I go here: https://gijsroge.github.io/tilt.js/ both in chrome and in opera the animation twitches like 5 fps, in Mozilla everything works smoothly. I connect this script to my site, or I go to sites with this script - the same problem - the animation twitches and hurts the eye, clumsily. And the problem is only in the display of this script, the rest of the animation, even fancy ones, works perfectly in all browsers. And yes, if you do not close the tab, then soon everything works smoothly in any of the browsers, but as soon as you refresh the page, it freezes again.
PS: PC new
PSS: hardware acceleration turned on / off.

Any code needs to be optimized. If this script is not optimized for a specific browser, then there is nothing to be surprised that it slows down. There are a lot of manuals on this topic on YouTube.

Check if your browser is busy with something, some plugin or something else that
other animations in the opera slow down for you?
