Why can't you set the port to 8000 and give it the name locahost2?

Brothers, such a question, I have Apache and installed nginx, in order to avoid bloodshed, I decided to hammer nginx on another port and give it a name, but in the end, the port comes in, and on localhost2 the search engine starts throwing me options from the search, but does not come in to my application.
And don't blame me, another question, is the html folder in nginx intended for storing application files?
Just in the installation instructions there, a new folder was created outside the folder of nginxa itself
