Why can't windows start the video card after changing the chip?
I handed over the laptop for repair (Acer Aspire 5920g, video card NVidia Geforce 9500M GS), as the image disappeared completely and only a gray vertical stripe in the center of the screen. The video chip has been changed. After that I ran a simple WebGL example in the browser. FPS is generally complete slag, everything lags, and the graphics are the simplest.
Went to device manager. Found a video card. Writes:
Windows could not start this device because its configuration information in the registry is incomplete or corrupted. (Code 19)
What does this mean? This laptop does not have a discrete video card, how does it display an image at all if it cannot start the device? How to fix? Tell me please.
