Why can't two Windows Servera 2008 servers see each other on the local network?

The main computer sees both the one and the other server. The servers don't see each other. Ping nothing works

Since there are no miracles in the world, then, as correctly answered above, it's all about incorrect equipment settings. These servers may well be located in different network segments (separated by a router with rules prohibiting direct visibility, in different VLANs, etc.).
But I do not understand the meaning of such questions without describing the details. It's one thing when some housewife asks a question - due to her modest knowledge in IT - in the style of "Everything doesn't work for me. Help!". Another thing is a person working with servers, which means that he has nothing to do with IT.
