Why can't remote desktop connect?
Good day
Given:
- server with Windows Server 2012 Essentials
- VPN access to the local network with the server
- client machine with Windows 7 on board
I connect via VPN to a remote machine, then I try to connect to the server via RDP. After entering the login / password, I see the inscription "The connection quality is being assessed" and after that the connection attempt stops.
Add. data:
- the virtual machine
is spinning on the server - I tried to turn off the firewalls on two machines - to no avail

Configure CredSSP in the credential passing policy. Check if you are using NLA .
There was a similar problem, I solved it by changing the MTU, lowered it to 1400
PS VPN was organized on Mikrotik

confirm, had the same problem. Removing crypto pro 3.9 solved the problem.
