Why can't Nokia E65 see SIM?

Good day to all.
The question is the following. There is a Nokia E65, there are two SIM cards - Kyivstar and MTS (Ukraine). MTS is working fine, but Kievstar Simka refuses to see point-blank. The problem is not in the SIM card, as other phones (an older Samsung and a newer SGS2 see it normally); There is no sim-lock either - since Nokia chewed up the Utel 3G SIM card.
What could be the problem?

On my E63, the SIM was not initialized due to a slight curvature.

Trite - try to clean the contacts on the SIM card, maybe Nokia touches where they are too oxidized.

There was a similar trouble with a SIM card, it worked fine in one phone, it refused in the other, after the replacement it worked in both. Xs what's with the SIM card, but you can try to change it, since it's usually free.
