Why can't I write to reserved memory areas?

In the memory card received from the BIOS, I found a reserved code section 0xe8000 - 0x100000 in which I cannot write anything, in connection with which the question arose. What prevents writing there and can I somehow fix it?

This section of memory can be read-only, and stored there - for example, information about the manufacturer, serial number, system statuses of the flash drive.
That is, physically write down there will not work.
