Why can't I log in to the nod32 update mirror?

Good afternoon Colleagues!
Tell me, can anyone come across such a problem: I decided to transfer nod32 updates to vps hosting and make authorization using .htaccess. The node is now unable to log in. From the browser I go and log in without problems, you can see the files in the directory and you can download them.
Why can't nod32 login?
