Why can't I install GIT on Ubuntu?

Hello everyone, I'm on the verge of a foul... I'm trying to install GIT on Ubuntu Server, but I ran into this problem: Error - Could not find the git package. Option 2 - either the Internet does not work or the wrong repository. Tell me, please, how to see in the ubuntu console what repository it uses? And how to change it, if so?
