Why can't HTC Desire S find wi-fi after flashing?
Installed Android 4.2.2 on Desire S
According to the instructions from habr - habrahabr.ru/post/182464
Does not find Wi-Fi networks. It is buggy when you enter the Wi-Fi settings (it works slowly, the Settings application error comes out)
How can I fix Wi-Fi or what stable build do you recommend?
At least Android 4.1
(I want Google Now and other new things)
At the beginning there was an official firmware of Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0
Then I installed the official Android 4.0.4 via PC
Now:
Communication module firmware:
20.76.30.0835U_3831.19.00.110 Kernel
version :
3.0.78-gd890f33

Processor (it used to be written differently):

Memory (there used to be more) :
588 Mb
CyanogenMod Version:
10.1-CM-Andromadus-SAGA-22
Build Date:

Build Number:

Go to 4pda.ru in the firmware section of your device. There are more likely to be owners who know what's up.
The firmware for your device, they say correctly above, will be able to choose sooner on w3bsit3-dns.com.
But about Wi-Fi:
1) the firmware of the communication module does not affect WiFi in any way.
2) Did you do a full Wipe before flashing? Do just in case, you never know, reset the settings after the firmware.
Here's a guy with a similar problem. He was helped by changing the settings of the router - the penultimate message.
For Wi-FI to work, you need to:
1. Turn on the phone
2. Go to Wi-Fi
3. Select the Region Russia, Japan (the same as on the router)
4. Enable Wi-Fi
PS To restart the phone, you need to turn off Wi-Fi and do it again starting from point 1
Knowing this, I think you can solve the problem, which IMHO lies in the channels ..
1. I reboot the phone
2. I go into the region settings is Europe
3. I turn on
Wi-Fi 4. Wi-Fi is not available
5. I turn off Wi-Fi with grief and lags
6. I go into the region settings - it costs nothing
7. I put Europe (or something else does not matter what)
8. Instantly finds Wi-Fi
check the channel on the router. sometimes it costs 13 and half of the devices do not see it. manually set the first one. and remove encryption and Wi-Fi passwords for verification.
I apologize for ignorance, where to select the wifi region on the phone.
I have frilander px2 and Mysaga-c4, wifi and bluetooth flew off on Maysaga
Smart does not see anything and no one sees him. Factory reset doesn't help.
