Why can some Woocommerce pages be accessed from the wrong links?

https://site.ru/product-category/category-1/ https://site.ru/product-category/popopo/category-1/ or https://site.ru/product-category/cvc/gtrgfg/category-1/ _ ) link. It is the wrong link that remains in the address bar, the page of which simply does not exist. So far, this issue has only been observed on category pages. Why isn't a 404 displayed or a redirect to a page with the correct link? Is it correct? And how to be?
