Why are you seeing Node.js and other frameworks on the desktop more and more often?
Hello. More and more often I see that JavaScript frameworks like Node.js or Electron are used on the desktop and more and more often I ask myself: why? Just one mention of the use of WebKit and other web things on desktops horrifies me. Well, this makes sense on smartphones, when the developer does not want to bother with the intricacies of frameworks for each OS, but on the desktop, there are Qt, GTK, wxWidgets, .NET. Is it a reluctance to learn languages or just an attempt to simplify development by hiring developers who only know, for example, Node.js?

because interfaces of any complexity are made on it (hello html + css) and development is many times faster (hello js)
