Why are there so few job openings in C#?
Hello.
Looking at vacancies on hh, I noticed that there are few vacancies in C # (compared to Java, C ++, Python, PHP). Like there used to be more. Does this language have a future? Particularly interested in the web direction. I got the impression that C# is mainly used for desktop applications for internal use in Russian offices (for accounting, working with documents, etc.). I don't think it's very interesting.

Hello.
In fact, there are actually not so few vacancies in C #, it's just that there is a blur.
When we look at vacancies in Python, it goes there:
One developer most often works in one of these areas, so although there are many vacancies, 3/4 of the vacancies simply do not suit him. The same applies to Java (with its android, devops, bigdata).
In C#, we have gamedev on the unity (literally crumbs), and actually business applications in C#. And if we compare the number of these vacancies with some of the branches of another language, then we get a difference of 10-30%.
I don't think it's very interesting.
If you look at Habr, now it is stylish, fashionable and youthful to write everything that is possible in javascript. And where it is impossible, create an interpreter and write in js.
