Why are there so few DirectX tutorials/video tutorials?

Relatively recently, I started learning DirectX 9 and faced a catastrophic lack of information. There are few books, few tutorials, few video tutorials. Why is there so little information on DirectX? If you know, tell me some good English / Russian resources for learning DirectX, I will be very grateful.
