Why are projects moving away from GTK+?

Hello. As you know, recently Wireshark abandoned GTK+ in favor of Qt. And this trend (of abandoning GKT+) has become more frequent. I'm new to programming and don't quite understand what's so bad about GTK+? Why are more and more developers moving projects to other frameworks?

That's because "a newbie in programming" - that's why there is a panic about the "trend of abandoning GKT +" that has appeared ;-) There
is no such "trend".

GTKs look very ugly and are very inconvenient to use. Here they refuse.
