Why are pdf/mp4 files not being read from storage Laravel?

Created a form for saving files in storage/app/public/uploads

Files get there. What's more, images in jpg format are displayed. Example:

https://mysite.ru/storage/app/public/uploads/ap.jpg

But all files in the mp4, pdf extension give a 404 error. At the same time, if you download them, they are displayed normally.

I wrote it myself, I decided it myself.
There is no access point in storage. To do this, a link is created in the /public folder, which refers to storage.
Accordingly, the path has changed to this
/public/storage/uploads/ap.jpg
