Why are objects not visible in blender?
After rendering and switching to Edit mode, the object disappeared.
It's on the menu on the right.
Tried Alt+H, ` (show all layers). Nothing helps.
Tell me what else to try? Is it possible to restore the object at all?
If it helps, I can upload the .blend file (I saved it when everything was in order, but now I have the same problem when opening it).
Windows 8.1, Blender 2.76b
Thanks

Maybe local mode is enabled? The "/" key on the numeric keypad.
I think it's no longer relevant, but to the question "Is it possible to restore the object at all?" I can answer.
Yes it is possible.
To do this, you need to use the "action history". If you accidentally do something with an object, you can try using the following:
Ctrl + Z - go back one step
Ctrl + Shift + Z - redo the undone action (also one step)
Ctrl + Alt + Z - show the history menu
You can increase/decrease the number of steps remembered by the program in the blender settings (User Preferences > Editing).
