Why are many methods and annotations underlined in red in the SDK?

Why in the SDK classes (in particular BluetoothAdapter) AS underlines many methods and annotations in red - it cannot find them (cannot resolve method ...), BUT the project is going to ... Strange. Why is that?
I am using Latest Android Studio Canary Build: 2.2.1 Stable
