Why are large files not cached in the browser?

Our application is a game, there are assets, some of them weigh a lot - 33mb, small files are normally cached by the browser, except for the largest one. It suggested that there may be limits that they ran into. Google did not give specific information, or the old one.
Are there limits on the maximum file size? Are there domain limits?

Here's to find out what the "browser" is called ... Otherwise, something is wrong with reading thoughts today.
For example, in Firefox, the maximum size of a cached element is determined by the parameter browser.cache.memory.max_entry_size
