Why are errors red in MariaDB status?

I installed it in Ubuntu 16.04 from the Ubuntu MariaDB repository, I look at the status through systemctl status mysql - there are three lines written in red so it should be or did I install it incorrectly?

I can assume that it highlights in red everything that comes to the stderr stream. But outputting such information to stderr instead of stdout is a normal and correct practice in my opinion.

Look at the content, not the color.
Have you ever seen the "blue screen of death" in Windows - information about a system crash is usually written there in quite decent white on blue.
