Most likely you need to specify smtp settings. By default, dle tries to send mail through the server it hosts. If this hosting is inexpensive, then it is most likely that sending mail there will only work through the smtp protocol.

In general, you need to climb the BIOS, and see what is indicated in the power settings, it can be indicated to go into sleep mode, instead of turning it off, and some thread of the device immediately wakes it up - you can turn off all events to wake up and change the power saving mode.
Your hand should not rest on the radiator. There are video cards for which 60-80 degrees is a normal operating temperature, but for a hand it can already be fried. Read the specification for the video card to find out its normal temperature.
