Tell me, as a person who is not a programmer, it will be easier for me to work with some CMS or with Jekyll (optionally, substitute any generator of static sites). The site is like a multi-page blog with heavy articles (videos, high-resolution images, sketchfab).

No. But only because you plan to place media content there. If there are a lot of pictures, then you will be tormented for sure. This is first uploading files to the host, copying links, pasting them into a post...

Install the same Wordpress (on any shared-hosting), there will be less pain when filling, because. You with Jekyll may need knowledge of html, css, markdown, liquid. Or use Forestry.io
