Who uses what functional tests when developing websites?

We develop websites for companies.
I'm putting together a checklist for a project. The checklist contains questions for all team members. To make life easier (to the layout designer and me, as a project manager, to a greater extent), we want to automate some of the checks.
We have: a site with connected codeception.
We plan to write functional tests codeception.com/docs/05-FunctionalTests , which can be run for most sites. Those. some general ones that you should definitely check. For example, so that on the main page there is no link from the logo to the main one.
I want to ask a respected audience: what would you check for sites for companies using functional tests?
PS: we don't have node.js and it's not planned yet.
