Who used XAMPP for Linux?

Who yuzat XAMPP for Linux help to understand. Here I used on windows OpenServer, I had a folder /public_html/www/... where I created directories and used it as a domain name. Where here (meaning XAMPP under Linux) to create your files? And do you really need to run the editor through the terminal all the time: sudo sublime to give editing rights to the editor?
PS just moved to Linux. Is there any documentation or course on Linux for a web developer?

@Strova

Here I dug up about XAMPP a: Tyts
And about virtualmin, a rather interesting solution to the problem, I might try it in the near future.
True, this does not solve the problem with access rights. As for "install it yourself", I installed it, but then I could not configure everything :(

I already wrote here many times - install Virtualmin and enjoy.
It pulls everything that the web server needs and gives the web management interface.
