Who is already using Zabbix 3.0?

I'm just about to upgrade to 3.0.
Who already uses, prompt:
- Mysql optimization is required? (I suffered with version 2.0.8)
- How are things going with cleaning up historical data? (in the same 2.0.8 everything hung up, I had to partition tables and delete them with a script)
- How to update agents on Unix-like machines correctly?

@misant

- Mysql optimization required ?
It depends on the load, I didn’t do anything special, I don’t have everything in monitoring yet - 125 values per second.
- How are things going with the cleaning of historical data? (in the same 2.0.8 everything hung up, tables had to be partitioned and deleted with a script)
Everything is the same. I did not deal with partitioning, but I was looking for scripts to clean out the old. I really have a special case - I deleted most of the objects (half the database in size), stopped monitoring them, and I had to clean it up with a script. And so the usual historical data should be normally cleared.
- What is the correct way to update agents on Unix like machines?
Old agents are backwards compatible, if you need the functions of the new one (encryption) - remove the old one, install the new one.
