White background after rotating transparent png. How to cure?

I rotate it 65 degrees, a rectangular picture, what was transparent, remains transparent, but the corners are filled with white! -background 'rgba(0,0,0,0)' doesn't help, then the corners are filled with black. Imagemagick experts, please help!

Try options (between your input.png and -rotate ... output.png):
or
-channel rgba -matte -background transparent
