Which WYSIWYG editor to choose for email newsletters?

Greetings!
There is a task: to add a visual editor to the admin panel so that managers can compose email texts for email newsletters to clients.
I don’t understand what is the best thing to do: in the editor, give managers the opportunity to edit only the “middle” (the content of the letter itself), and then substitute it into the layout of the letter?
What editor do you recommend? We need a simple one so that we do not add extra "garbage" to html - after all, it will be a letter.
Has anyone solved a similar problem?
Thank you.

TinyMCE used to be used in postal services, including Mail.Ru and Yandex. There are plugins for it (for example, legacyoutput) and tutorials on setting it up for use in webmails.
But in general, it's better to really make ready-made templates or blocks and form letters from them.

We use https://n1ed.com on our project Through it, editors typeset articles, but I think it’s suitable for your case, mailings can also be typeset in it, it will return the html code.
A very powerful thing, and at the same time fast. seems to fit your needs. If something is missing, then you can write your own plugin for it.
