Which wiki engine to choose for the server knowledge base?

There is a discord server for 1000+ people, a knowledge base for moderators and the usual FAQ is needed. I really liked Wiki.js , as well as the ability to install it for free on Heroku. I would like to find its analogue, just as beautiful and functional, but with the ability to install on virtual hosting (wiki.js is not allowed).
MediaWiki is very rich in functionality, but it looks scary and, in my opinion, is not very convenient.
