Which vuejs engine to choose?

Hello, there was a task to fasten the engine to make the admin panel to the vue application.
Immediately, without hesitation, we went to WordPress, because we had little experience with it, but then we found out that everything is not so simple there. Maybe someone knows which engine will be the friendliest with vuejs or maybe there are good, proven ways to create an admin without engines?

Prepare the API on Symfony or Laravel, and the admin interface on Vue or React.
