It makes no sense to put the base files of a normally loaded DBMS into a virtual machine.
If you don’t care about inconvenience and I / O overhead, it doesn’t matter whether it will be a container or a virtual machine, it is more important on which disks it will all be located and whether the DBMS itself will be configured correctly in terms of performance.
