Which video cards are suitable for Wayland + KDE Plasma?

I welcome everyone!
There is a rumor on the Internet that Wayland + Plasma performs horribly on Nvidia graphics cards.
But at the same time, such rumors are plus or minus three years ago.
I want to make my own OS (it's interesting to try). Accordingly, the question is: What needs to be done so that all video cards / video adapters (Amd, Nvidia, Intel) work? What should be installed from the software (for example, which composer, etc.)?
Will it work correctly?
Thank you for your responses!

It does not walk, but it is. We are talking about Wayland, so it works with the driver via the buffer API. There are several of them, from Intel & amd - GBM, and from nvidia EGLStreams. Nvidia dropped support for GBM, citing...it's been a long story for 3 years now. In general, what we are doing on the line now is buying AMD cards and we don’t know any problems. The driver is open and perfectly integrated into systems (ubuntu/manjaro, I don't know about others)
Or we don't touch wayland and wait for composers to learn how to work with EGLStreams (kde just learned) or when fucking nvidia supports GBM (never).

Perhaps you should look into cross-platform frameworks (openCl, openGl).

@mindtester

the KDE community, unlike GNOME, was slow to support Wayland. but for today everything is fine
