Which version of nodejs to study?

The essence of the question: how to learn nodeJS correctly and more productively?
There are many lessons on the network, but they are all for versions 0.10 or 0.12, and on the site there are already 4 and 6.
I heard that after the updates everything changes a lot there and just switching from the old one to the new one will not work.
Should I take the time to learn 0.* versions, or should I start with new ones right away? If new, which version do you recommend? Or is it possible to forgive the video course on the old version and then switch to a newer one?

Well, 6, although in fact, the api changes slightly from version to version, something is marked deprecated, something is deleted / added, the version of the V8 engine is updated and all that. Global changes, when everything changes, there is no such thing.
In general, this is just a platform for executing javascript code, extended with its own api for working with files, streams, etc. If you want to use something from the nodejs api, then open the dock and read what properties / methods are there and what the module does in general. Everything. This is not a programming language, tell me what you can learn there?

JS is also in Africa JS. Maybe I'm lying, but all of the "old" lessons will work and be relevant.
