Which technology is better to use for a startup, Java or .Net?

A Google search for "java highload" gives 4 times more links than ".net highload". Consequently, there are more developments in Java (and as a rule they are free). So if you like to invent bicycles, then .Net is in your hands and go.

what is closer to you and what you know better, then use it, the fundamental differences in full-fledged cross-platform Java, but .Net is more convenient for development, I would choose .Net
