Which storage system to choose for a large organization?

I read similar posts asked by the guys on the Toaster about storage.
However, the question remains open for me.
I would like to know the opinion of more knowledgeable and experienced people. Well, or just maybe someone will advise the SHDshka model that they used.
1) Storage rack, please advise models;
2) Fiber optic cable to connect directly to a server for 4 gigabits or more speed, what is it called, can you tell me?
3) The boards for connecting this fiber optic cable, what are they professionally called?
4) Will these boards fit a regular PC (our current "SHD")?

2) FibreChannel. The problem is that one such connection (cable and SFP modules) will cost you 700 bucks.
3) FibreChannel HBA. They cost 500 bucks for a little thing

In your TOR you need to write not the volume of a "large organization", but the requirements for storage - volume, quality of reservation, approximate load.
