Hello everybody!
I have a TV, no smart TV. At first I wanted to sell it or give it away and buy myself a new TV with smart TV, but then I read on the Internet that there are such smart TV set-top boxes, by connecting them to a regular TV, I will get all the features of smart TV.
I want to buy a smart TV set-top box for my LCD TV or, as it is also called, an Android mini PC set-top box.
Please advise how to make the right choice. On the Internet, I found a lot of different consoles. Dual-core processor mk808, mk808b, COZYSWAN MK809 II, iMito MX1, iMito MX2, MK802 III S. Minix neo X7 has long been outdated, like the T-R42 and other set-top boxes on the RK3188 processor.
Now, as of October 2014, the most modern processor is the RK3288. It is almost 2 times faster and its graphics processor is also faster. Smart TV set-top box on this processor I can advise Beelink R89, namely the version with 16Gb, there is fast WiFi. (connection with a router 150Mbps, other set-top boxes - only 65).

After re-reading the comments, I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and take a used Sony playstation 3. IMHO, the most win-win option. In any case, it will still be possible to sell it, unlike Chinese devices, which will become obsolete in a year.
