Which sensor is used to determine depth in suunto watches?
Decided to buy a watch. Accidentally came across suunto. Watch model suunto core lava red .
Watch with interesting features - altimeter, barometer, compass, thermometer and depth gauge for snorkeling. With an altimeter, barometer, compass, thermometer, everything is clear.
But what sensor is used to measure the depth, I have no idea?
My thoughts: because the clock is sealed, either an atmospheric pressure sensor is used, or a strain gauge is used.
