Which second higher program to choose in Baumanka?
Hello.
I have an economic education behind me, I want to get a second degree at Bauman Moscow State Technical University, or abroad, but I can’t decide on a program.
Of the advantages of Baumanka: I can enter this year (I am 34 years old, time is a rather critical factor), studying in the evening and goes well with work during the day; variety of programs (more on that below).
Of the minuses of Baumanka: choosing MSTU, I refuse the opportunity to live abroad for the next 3 years; the price is high (about 900 thousand rubles for the entire training course of 3 years).
As an alternative, I'm thinking of saving money to study abroad in the next 2 years and study there (also a bachelor's degree); The main disadvantage in this regard is to wait at least 2 years.
Accordingly, the questions are:
1) what is better to choose: to save money and go to Germany / Italy / Spain to study in a couple of years, while stuffing your hand with courses and self-education?
2) If you study at Moscow State Technical University, which program should you prefer? From the English-language forums, there was an opinion that "Information Systems" is not the best direction, and the more hardware - the better (in this case - "IVT"). I also think about mathematics, but to a lesser extent. So, there is:
- the direction "Computer science and computer technology" (the program "Computers, complexes, systems and networks"),
- the direction "Information systems and technologies" (the program "Information systems and technologies"),
- the direction "Software engineering" (program "
- Direction "Applied Mathematics" (program "Dynamical Systems and Control Processes").
If someone studied on one of them, I will be very grateful for the information.
I know that it is possible to study in Russia for a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree abroad, I am also considering it.
I would appreciate any advice/experience.

And what the hell is all this? If you really got an education, then you should understand that the university is just a tool. You already have a diploma. All the programs you listed are completely self-study, especially since economic education suggests a good mat. training, and even basic knowledge of information technology, including programming.
