Which processor to choose for laptop upgrade?

there is no money for a new one, I decided to upgrade a little, added RAM up to 4 GB, I don’t really need a video, but just kills. How to determine which processors are suitable?
If i5 480M fit for example, it would be great

You can search very well on this site www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Mobile_Celeron_Dual... at the bottom is a table of processors for this socket.
UPD: a very important TDP parameter, take the same (or lower) as your processor, otherwise the built-in cooling system will not cope.

Most likely, it will be possible to install the Core 2 Duo T9500 as much as possible. In principle, it is noticeably faster than what is, but not i5, of course.
Whether the BIOS will work with it is an open question - I advise you to search for the "success story" of such an improvement in your specific note model in Google, or the presence of the same model with this stone - if any, it will work.
