Which processor to choose, Core i5-8400 vs Core i5-9400F?

Which processor to choose, Core i5-8400 vs Core i5-9400F?
The 8400 has a graphics core, is it needed at all?
Why is the 9400F better than the 8400? I did not find anything intelligible on this issue, only at 100 MHz the frequency is higher.
What is the difference between Coffee Lake Refresh and Coffee Lake?
And if out of 6 processor cores there is one graphics core, does this mean that it will be able to perform its main tasks with only the remaining five cores? If you install a discrete vidyuhi, then the graphics core is not used at all, i. Consider losing 17% of your CPU?

among other things being equal, I would choose a processor with an integrated graphics card. Firstly, it will help you a lot if a discrete vidyuha burns out, and you need to work right here and now. Secondly, the presence of two vidyuhi (discrete + integrated) greatly expands the ability to connect additional monitors.

They are about the same.

It is necessary only if there is no discrete vidyahi.
nothing in your case. And there should be solder, but in the i5-9400F, as usual, a thermal gum.

I would take the 8400, personally, my graphics processor works together with the nvidia discrete: for example, when capturing a game, you can put video compression on intel graphics, you can also on the nvidia encode chip.
In theory, in the 9400f, the graphon was not just turned off, there may be a manufacturing defect, and the 8400 is a full-fledged healthy percent.
