Which processor is suitable for HP compaq nc4200?

Today we got a very interesting exhibit, HP Compaq nc4200. Holding it in my hands, I realized that we would get along with it, I plan to use it for surfing, reading and light coding in scripting languages. The OS will most likely be Elementary OS.
Alas, from the factory it is quite flawed by today's standards. I think I’ll find a memory bar up to 2 gigabytes, but I can’t decide on a processor.
Who knows what processor will fit in this laptop? Preferably specific models, and as powerful as possible.
