Which php framework to choose after Django?
Silly and stupid question.
Close friends turned to a freelancer to make a website. He started doing it on WordPress. Then he disappeared.
They ask for help. And I didn’t communicate with the puff with the 4th version, and even more so, I didn’t see the WordPress code in my eyes.
My competencies are python-golang-java.
I would have sketched everything I needed on Junga over the weekend, but everything is complicated by a foolish toad - on the advice of the first developer, for a good year they immediately paid for puff hosting and a domain in addition.
What do you advise? Write in jung and give them a virtual machine on your server and advise them to forget about paid hosting? (maybe they will be able to return the money, but there will be a problem with the domain, as I believe)
It’s not at all a desire to climb into the wilds of WordPress.
Or maybe the puff has appeared comparable in convenience with the almost declarative approach of django?

I strongly recommend saying "no" to your friends in this matter. After all, tomorrow they will want to "play with fonts."
After Django, I recommend Symfony2, a fairly powerful framework with a bunch of ready-made and useful bundles and good documentation for a beginner. Plus, you can code the behavior of the system with annotations (if we are talking about developing an API for a singlepage site, then look towards FOSRestBundle and NelmioApiDocBundle - it's easy to build an API and compile documentation for it)
There are enough frameworks (Symfony, Yii, Laravel, CakePHP), but is it really cheaper to learn a new framework than hosting?
The domain can be transferred anywhere, there should be no problems.
you can refuse, actually. there are enough specialists (you can help them look for one).
You need to do what you know how to do, if you do not need to learn PHP and any framework.
If you want to learn PHP for yourself, then take Yii 2.
Larvel and Symfony 2 do not take because of the terribleness of the first and the very slow learning curve of the second framework.
