Which PDF reader to use in 2020?
I know it's a bit of a weird question, but I'm wondering what a handy PDF reader for books on Android is.
Until recently, I used EBookDroid, but there is no black theme and the eyes get tired quickly and it has not been updated for a long time. Most of the others have a black theme, but it's just a black page and white text, so your eyes get tired too. WPS has a good night mode (pages are dark gray, and text is light gray), but it is not convenient for me (at the slightest press, the page leaves somewhere or the scale changes).
What reader are you using?

For books I use pocketbook. He has a couple of complaints. Firstly, this is PocketBook... that is, it will contain a scattering of bugs that not only interfere with the use of the program, but rather distract with their "amusements". And secondly, the settings interface is so complicated that you have to spend a lot of time to figure it out (for example, turn off all swipes) and don’t go there anymore.
But even despite this, I liked the reader much more than the paid ones. Although this is more likely not a plus for PocketBook, but a minus for the rest.
For PDF documents I use Xodo. Used for more than just reading. For example, with the help of it, he put a painting on a document.
Maybe the answer is a bit off topic, but I will share my personal experience :)
If a PDF contains mainly textual information, then on the phone it is better not to read it with your eyes, but listen with your ears, so as not to spoil or tire your eyesight. ReadAloud is a free program in the Play Market.
Of course, at first it will be an unusually mechanical voice, wrong accents ... But try it for a week and maybe your opinion will change.
