Which OS to choose for local php development?

I'm interested in this, I'm programming in php ... I use denwer as a local server, is this generally normal for professional php developers? since I want to become one, I'm interested in which web server to use? what OS to work on (I understand that some kind of ubuntu is better, as most linux servers have)? If you develop on a local server, then what would be less painful later to switch to a real one ... which was as close as possible to the most combat conditions, so to speak? in short, professional php developers are waiting for your advice

No.
Get yourself Ubuntu. Well, or virtualbox + ubuntu. Or vagrant. Well, or docker, but this is already for the advanced. The last two pieces are just invented to eliminate (or at least reduce) the differences between the environments.

If you are under Windows:
OpenServer - for small tasks and experiments.
Vagrant - for a complete environment.

On Windows, working with PHP IMHO is still sad.
If you do not want to part with Windows, then vagrant + vbox with Linux is a great option.
