Which nettop is suitable for stream encoding?

I think to build a mini atx or just take a nettop in order to hang a stream load on it at the expense of a video capture card. The main question is what is the optimal processor for this purpose, because you can do without a video card completely and drive through x264.

If the task is to fit into the minimum budget and get a beautiful and convenient solution, take the Intel NUC.
The good, suitable piece of iron just for such task. Depending on the number and fat content of streams, any one with a processor starting from i3 will do.
