Or learn Xamarin sdk and that's it
And there at once and Android, IOS, WP8

I wonder what can be learned in the Xamarin sdk?
All you need to know is the features of each of the platforms and their guidelines. Everything else is completely similar to regular desktop development - the same MVVM and services.

xaml - at least the basic principles of work, probably nothing else, everything is provided by xamarin itself
