Which multimeter to buy with foolproofing?

The multimeter dt 832 broke down (by inattention, I made a mistake in the control knob by 180 degrees, measuring the resistance instead of the voltage in the 220V network).
Does anyone have experience with inexpensive multimeters with protection against such situations?

As a rule, good input protection in multimeters is combined with automatic limit selection and is not considered an element of foolproofing (this is trivial), but a sign of a higher class of equipment.
As for protection against it, native, I can advise such a device - HoldPeak HP-890CN , in which it is implemented specifically: when the switch is set to a certain position, special shutters open only those probe sockets that are suitable for this type of measurement, and vice versa - if the probes are inserted, then it will not be possible to put the switch in inappropriate positions.
An additional bonus of this multimeter is increased accuracy: the edge of the scale is 5999, in contrast to the usual 3.5 digits for all of us (1999). And of course, the automatic selection of the limit. I've been using it for six months now and I'm not overjoyed. I bought on Ali with some difficulties (the seller tried to powder my brains).

Нет мультимитров с защитой от дурака.
Есть с автоматическим выбором диапазонов но это никак не спасёт от замера сопротивления в розетке но и не из дешовых это :)
В общем внимательность, внимательность и ещ раз внимательность, хотя 832-х можно купить пучек и не париться :)

После пары раз вылета с феерверком проводов из щупов мультиметра в руках я уже не путаю отверстия и режимы измерения) Может и вам поможет)
