Which MU-MIMO router is better to take?

Hello!
I want to buy a reliable router as a gift. I paid attention to the MU-MIMO technology and I want to test its work at the same time. The router will be in a new building, therefore it must be universal (VPN, etc.), but in top models, however, such functionality is always present. Must be reliable and this is the main thing for me at the moment. In this regard, I have no desire to take ASUS, TP-LINK, ZyXEL, since there were a lot of sad experiences with stability. I paid attention to the Linksys E8500 model. It fits into my budget (~20k), has excellent hardware and should be essentially reliable, as it has its roots in Cisco. The problem is that the model is not officially sold in Russia and nowhere is it written about working in Beeline networks or other providers. Take a chance and order a model in noname stores in Moscow (conetec or ipici) or is it better to pay attention to the official models of ASUS, Netgear? It is the top models that are of interest, since the router will work together with an unmanaged switch with 16 ports and simultaneously hold 6-7 clients wirelessly.
