Try to answer these questions.
1. Are there any critical tasks, which include dynamic games, graphics, CAD?
2. How much do you like (or dislike) “increased cursor accuracy” (in fact, mouse acceleration, non-linear relationship between mouse speed and cursor speed)?
3. What kind of monitor?
4. Is there a tight space?
5. Are there any other special requirements? For example, I need back and forth buttons and hold scrolling. Someone needs to write all the settings into the mouse and transfer them to another computer.
By experience. On a typical laptop at 1400px, almost any mouse at 800+ dpi is fine. 1680px - look for 800 ... 1000 dpi, in a cramped space you may need 1200. FullHD - look for 1000 ... 1200 dpi, in a cramped space - adjustable speed. True, on HiDPI, pixel transmissions (which, in fact, will be the increased sensitivity set in Windows tools) are not so critical. "Increased accuracy" is disabled.
PS. Here is a special task. We have a poppy in front of us, and we need to see if there are drivers for specials. buttons below it.
• Marathon - 1000 dpi. You need to see if there is enough sensitivity, whether it is on the hand, etc., but in general, the mouse is like a mouse. Also, my IMHO - the lid can loosen up and interfere with the mouse. As a mobile device, it is absolutely unsuitable because of the cover.
• MX. Under one position mixed MX and MX2. The second fire, but it is necessary to check purely software chips. If, after turning off, it returns this very sensitivity back to an uncomfortable level, do not take it. The first is cheaper, I do not see information on it.
• Apple. The main gripe is that it is not for everyone. Plus unreliably registers the right click.
• G700s. Too crappy reviews, especially on the battery and assembly.
And further. If you eat at the workplace, give up the rubber inserts, they terribly collect crumbs. And if not, they are fabulously good to the touch.
You have to try again by hand. And it may happen that the mouse is either small or large for you.
I advise not from the logitech MX master list, though I advise you to touch it in advance - it's quite large.
Choosing a mouse is about the same as choosing a girl. I'm not joking at all - if you spend a lot of time at the computer, then an uncomfortable mouse will cause about the same emotions. Therefore, IMHO, the mouse is first selected not by "technique", but by how comfortable it is. There are three landmarks here:
- The hand that drives the mouse (right / left)
- Grip (fingers / palm)
- The size and shape of the palm
Everything is selected purely individually, you need to take each mouse in your hand, try to drive it. IMHO, all presented mice (with the possible exception of MX) are designed for a large wide palm, for a palm grip with the right hand
There is also such a moment as a source of energy. Batteries change instantly, but they need to be purchased separately. The built-in battery charges, sometimes for quite a long time, and during this time the mouse turns into a wired one.
I tried to buy a pair of mice "blindly" - without trying on the hand. One was presented to a friend, the second is tormented by a child ...
