Which microphone to choose for "smart home"?

Hello.
I want to hang microphones around the house, and from them broadcast sound to the computer, then recognize the voice on the PC, etc.
The problem with the choice of microphones is the closest that I found - microphones of the "rustle-%d" type, but they are not very satisfactory, because wired, I don’t want to collectively farm wires through the whole apartment, but doing it “beautifully” is also not a very option, because rental housing.
Are there microphones that can be connected to a PC without unnecessary hemorrhoids and wires? For example, a battery-powered microphone with a radio transmitter, and near the PC a radio receiver that goes into the microphone input? If so, then I would like the most finished iron, because. I'm not very good at radio engineering.

Rustles try) are used in video surveillance. "If you speak in a whisper nearby, then in the headphones it will be like yelling in your ear"

Without wires - these are radio microphones. But these are additional hindrances, and most importantly, these are the "bugs" installed by oneself. Anyone can listen to these microphones.
IMHO, the only option here is to make a separate MiniPC device in each room (raspberry pi, odroid C1, Orange PI and analogues) with on-site recognition - for money it will be the same as a kind of radio / WiFi microphone.
There are also specialized processors for speech recognition - www.ti.com/general/docs/litabsmultiplefilelist.tsp...
